Yum Restaurants wanted to create a high-impact promotional campaign that would drive mass engagement, generate brand excitement, and create a memorable consumer experience tied to live sports and digital media.

The concept needed to be bold, culturally relevant, and capable of handling significant national attention — from contest entry management to product manufacturing and fulfillment.

Our Approach

Viper Marketing partnered with KFC Canada to design and execute the Couchside Kicks campaign from concept to completion.

We built a dedicated contest website where consumers could enter for a chance to win a pair of custom-designed KFC Couchside Kicks. The campaign was promoted nationally, including during eight Toronto Raptors NBA broadcasts, along with extensive online and social media advertising.

Our scope included:

  • Designing and producing custom KFC shoe boxes

  • Warehousing inventory and managing kitting
